A 72-year-old Buchanan man sexually assaulted a juvenile victim under the age of 13 at a residence in the Verplanck section of Cortlandt over the course of several years, New York state police said. Additional victims have come forward reporting they were abused by Calman Greenburg, state police said, adding that it is anticipated that Greenburg will face additional charges.

Pipeline protesters to rally in Peekskill today

Activists are concerned the pipeline would be located a little more than 100 feet from the Indian Point nuclear power plant in Buchanan. The new section of the Spectra Energy pipeline will go from Stony Point, under the Hudson River and into Verplanck and Buchanan.
